最近有一些相當有趣的期刊,過去都是英國比較喜歡一些有趣的研究,
但國內因為健保資料庫的關係,相信陸續也會有一些新的分析資料,
今天要分享的期刊就是來自榮總的文獻指出:
對於癌症患者而言,帶狀皰疹的發作都會較一般民眾嚴重;但反之,
帶狀皰疹是否會增加罹癌的風險呢???
這篇來自榮總的期刊指出:皰疹病毒的活化感染並不會增加罹癌風險

Patients with cancer are more likely to have herpes zoster (shingles) outbreaks than people who do not have cancer, but whether shingles raises cancer risk has not been known. A new study published online September 17 in the Canadian Medical Association Journal indicates that the reactivated herpes infection does not elevate cancer risk.

之前當然也有研究指出帶狀皰疹與之後癌症發生的相關性,但是針對西方人種
,結果也是反映並無相關性,而本篇則可以說是針對國人的統計,相信更有說服力

Previous studies examining the relationship between herpes zoster and subsequent cancer development investigated Western populations. Results might not reflect incidence or association in other populations, such as the Asian population that is the focus of the current reported study.

文獻本身的結論是:
本篇群體研究顯示帶狀皰疹並不會增加整體癌症的風險.
作者的結論是:
帶狀皰疹爆發後,再進一步做潛在癌症的檢查是不需要的.

"This population-based study shows that herpes zoster does not increase the overall risk of cancer in the general population," the researchers conclude.
The results of the study indicate that enhanced surveillance for occult cancer after a herpes zoster outbreak is not necessary, the authors conclude.

所以以後大家真的發生帶狀皰疹後,就不用再問是不是要進一步檢查啦!!!
不過~這篇還是專指癌症的部份,並不代表其它疾病,請各位看倌自行注意.
